Along with our latest comic, we released a 2000s eurodance-style remix of Sketches of You, based on the music heard in BEMANI’s Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania series.
We had a lot of fun working on this. Please enjoy!
We’ve released our first game today, being a short rhythm game where you have to make sure we don’t absolutely flub a live show! You can play it on NewGrounds and or here on our website!!!
For the first time in MoriHime history we’ve started releasing shirts! We’ve only published one of them but expect more this year. Long live the otaku!
CDs of the first album have been restocked, please purchase one at https://morihime.bandcamp.com/album/morihime and make sure to buy our latest album This Week’s Magical Stage too!!
Yeaaaahhh, okay it took us forever… But I spent some time re-building the website and making it fancy and stuff. We wanna have a lot more fun with this! More interactivity, more blogging and whatnot. It’s a layout I’m much more proud of and I hope you all like it too. Please provide your feedback in the comments!
Hold on a minute. WHAT?! We’ve never gotten something like this before, but a fan by the name of “Robin Gaming” submitted to us a cover of our very own song “Heat Death”, from our first album. It’s SO SICK and I urge you to check it out. Really cool stuff!
It brings a uniquely grungy/punk-ish feeling to the song and we’re extremely honored to have such a well-made cover of a song we wrote. Hell yeah man. ~Orihime Moritani
Okay. You probably aren’t going to believe me but… As of 1/19/2025, our debut album is the BEST SELLING OTAKU ALBUM ON BANDCAMP. No, seriously. go check. It’s right there.
Genuinely, thank you all SO MUCH for being the best fans ever, and sticking with us since the beginning. I never thought we’d make it this far. All of us at MoriHime love you so much, stay tuned for any new updates…!
Took us long enough, ‘idn’t it? Our first ever true single has finally released on YouTube, now with an upgraded mix for you to enjoy!
The artwork was done by our good friend Alexodium (he’s a great artist, seriously, check his stuff out) and the mixing and engineering was done by another good friend of ours named Hex (who wishes to mostly stay anonymous.)
Enjoy the shoujo-punk anthem in the comfort of your own browser! And stay tuned for even bigger things on the horizon…
Did you know our music is on Spotify too? …Well, you may have noticed that we didn’t make *any* changes to it after putting it up… It took us a little bit, but we finally got around to updating our Spotify artist profile with a new profile picture and banner!
The profile art is courtesy of amadeusredux (the real Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, isn’t that CrayZ?), they did a fantastic job and we hope to work with them again in the future!
Stay tuned for more updates in the future, we may have some pretty big news at the end of the year. Sparkle on! Bye bye!… Good night?
